Flying Assignment!

Each team consists of three chasers, two beaters, one keeper and one seeker. Scoring with the quaffle is worth 10 points and catching the snitch nets your team 150 points.

The rules of quidditch are as follows:

Players can fly as high as they want they cannot leave the pitch boundaries or the quaffle will be forfeited to the other team.

Only the team captain can call a time out. The time out can last as long as two hours if the game has gone over twelve hours. The team must return to the pitch during this time or they are disqualified.

The referee can impose penalties. A single Chaser may take the penalty by flying from the central circle towards the scoring area. The opposing team's Keeper may attempt to stop the shot being scored, but no other player may interfere.

Contact such as pushing and shoving is allowed but no grabbing of brooms or persons.

No substitution of a player is allowed, even if they are badly injured.

Players can take their wands onto the pitch but only for protection. They are not allowed to use them on other players, the four balls, any broomsticks, the ref or the spectators.
